Kourtney Kardashian's marriage proposal

Kourtney Kardashian turned down boyfriend Scott Disick’s marriage proposal in the final episode of the family’s reality show.

Rumours had been circulating all week that Disick, 27, was going to pop the question in the final episode of ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’.

However, viewers saw Kourtney rejecting his proposal over dinner on their four-and-a-half-year anniversary, saying she was not ready to marry him yet, reports the Daily Mail.

Earlier, bachelor boy, Disick, said it was high time he made a lifelong commitment to the mother of his son Mason.

Before the finale aired on U.S. TV on Sunday night, Scott tweeted: “Big episode tonight ya twit bags so don’t forget to watch.”

Kourtney, 31, was blissfully unaware of his plans to get down on bended knee, but sister Kim was fully in the loop and made sure Disick made a wise choice when picking out the diamond ring.

The final moments of the episode were somewhat sad when Disick’s big plans to marry Kourtney were shot down over dinner.

Kourtney was still clearly at a low ebb when they arrived at the restaurant, and there was little poor Disick can do to raise her spirits, and that included proposing.

He tells her: ‘For me, a perfect relationship and a perfect life is having a family and being married.’

But Kourtney is quick to jump in and air her own views. She tells Scott: ‘Things are so good now, why would we want to change that?’

Scott is clearly devastated by his girlfriend’s response, but Kourtney sticks to her guns by adding:’ I’m happy with the way things are.’

They then toast their four years together, with Disick saying: “Here’s to four year of being in an relationship, the best one of my life.”
